Setup & execution

Set the ring so its front edge runs parallel to the front edge of the green. Build three good-lie bunker stations at approximately 7, 11, and 15 yds of carry, then hit 15 shots from each station. Normal difficulty asks you to keep the same landing window while the carry distance changes. Use the same splash rhythm from the front station, then adjust swing length and sand entry as you move to the middle and back stations.

Goal

Score 34 or more total points to pass. Award 2 points inside the 5-ft inner ring, 1 point inside the 15-ft outer ring, and 0 outside or in the bunker.

Tour context

Average players who can repeatedly land bunker shots inside a 15-ft zone from several cover distances are developing the carry control that turns bunker play from recovery into a scoring skill.

Scoring options

Pick how you are rewarded. Each option records different outcomes and feeds different insights.

  • Classic

Both rings score; the inner one is worth double.

  • Points

The inner ring pays triple; the bunker costs you double.

  • Every Shot Counts

Only the inner ring scores. Anything outside costs you.
