Three Targets
Hit five approach shots to each of three alignment-stick targets set at different distances — distances and scoring rings vary by difficulty tier from 50–175 yd. Mark a scoring ring around each stick before you begin and count any ball resting inside the ring as a success. Complete three rounds for 45 approach shots in total.

Setup & execution
Plant three alignment sticks at 75, 100, and 125 yd. Mark a scoring ring 20 ft in radius around each stick. Hit 5 shots to each stick in sequence and repeat for three rounds — 45 approach shots total. At Normal level, landing within 20 ft across all three distances requires genuine distance calibration, not just approximate direction. Develop a consistent pre-shot routine: club selection, a specific landing spot, and a committed swing tempo. Shots that stray short miss the ring just as reliably as directional misses.
Goal
Land 23 or more of 45 approach shots inside the 20-foot rings to pass. The tighter zone compared to Easy means only reasonably precise approaches count — drifting to the right area without landing inside the ring adds nothing to your score.
Tour context
PGA Tour proximity from 75–125 yd averages 10–20 ft. Experienced amateurs consistently landing inside a 20-foot ring across three different distances are building the distance calibration that directly reduces short-game scoring.
Scoring options
Pick how you are rewarded. Each option records different outcomes and feeds different insights.
Classic
Inside the ring or not. A miss costs you nothing.
Points
Leaving it short hurts twice as much as any other miss.
Never Short
Come up short and you lose a point. Other misses are free.

Hit 9 shots combining 3 trajectories (low, medium, high) and 3 shapes (draw, straight, fade) to build full shot control.
ApproachIron Dispersion
Hit 15 iron shots across three target distances, using dispersion corridors from 10 yd to 30 yd wide depending on difficulty, and map whether each shot finishes in zone, left, or right.
ApproachDivot Board / Towel Contact Drill
Place a towel behind the ball and strike irons without touching it, training ball-first contact and a forward divot.
