Pressure Chain
Hole a chain of short putts in a row from one fixed distance between 2 ft and 6 ft, depending on difficulty. One miss and the chain restarts from zero.
Difficulty levels
Setup & execution
Set one tee 3 ft from the hole. Every putt is from that same spot, on that same line. You get 36 balls. Hole as many in a row as you can — one miss and the chain restarts from zero, automatically. Your score is the longest chain you reach, and a chain of 8 passes. A flawless run is all 12 in a row.
Goal
Build a chain of 8 within your 36 balls — that is the pass. Your score is the longest chain you reach, so a miss costs you the run you are on, never the session.
Tour context
Tour make rates from 3 ft run around 95%. Even at that rate a flawless 12-putt chain comes off only a little over half the time, which is what makes the last three putts feel different from the first three.
Scoring options
Pick how you are rewarded. Each option records different outcomes and feeds different insights.
Classic
You hole the putt or you don't. Nothing else is scored.
Points
Leaving it short hurts twice as much as missing sideways.
